We lost this very special member of the Tara Farm Family in January 2010, after a battle with an illness contracted at the 2009 Grand National in Oklahoma City, where he secured his fourth consecutive title as the World Champion Gelding... a feat matched only by two other legends in the breed over the 36 year history of the GNWCMHS: Val's Terry and Marno's Mystique. In addition to his many halter wins, this charismatic gelding was also a favorite driving partner for owner Holly Johnson. And he also enjoyed a rare but highly successful career as a sire, with nine exceptional get to his credit, including the World Champions CBMF Wild Ruler and CBMF Class Act, as well as the regional winners CBMF Entitled, Comoshun's Crackin Rose, and CBMF Split Decision. A much loved friend, valuable sire, and incredible show horse. The breed has truly lost a valuable ambassador. |
